Range in Air and Penetrating Power

The simulation demonstrates ranges of different types of radiation in air and their penetrating powers in different materials. Choose the radioactive source and drag the GM tube along the ruler to determine the count rate at different positions. Different stopping materials can also be chosen so that the effect on count rate due to different materials with different thicknesses can be determined.
