Introduction

This simulation shows the magnetic field patterns around different current-carrying conductors, such as an infinitely long straight wire, a pair of wires, a circular coil as well as an infinitely long solenoid. Parameters like the current flowing through the conductor can be changed so as to study the magnetic field patterns related to the change.
