Using forceps, put a magnesium granule into the suction flask. Stopper the flask immediately, and start the stopwatch. Wait until 30 cm 3 of gas is produced, and stop the stopwatch. Record the time taken in the following table. Repeat the experiment using a calcium granule. 4 5 6 Experiment skill Make sure that there is no gas leakage at each connection. Caution DO NOT touch the calcium granule with your bare hands. Use forceps to handle it.
